There’s Magic in Mentorship: Cosmic Blonde
In continuation of celebrating Women’s History Month, we are showcasing several local female community leaders. In this episode of Business in Blue, we were joined by Marcie Keech, Founder & Owner of Cosmic Blonde. Listen in as Marcie shares her insights about the importance of mentorships; and shares how her own mentor experience helped her to realize her entrepreneurial dreams and become equipped with the necessary tools for success. She also discusses the value of “leaning in and taking initiative” in professional opportunities.
This episode is proudly sponsored by the Memphis Institute for Leadership Education Program (MILE). Students accepted into the MILE program are paired with a highly professional mentor from the Memphis community. For an entire academic year, mentors and their protégé’s navigate leadership development, community service, ignite professionalism and boost self-confidence. Every spring more than 50 sophomore, junior and senior students benefit from this unique learning opportunity and earn a MILE certificate. Looking to get involved?
